ARRIVAL TIME

Campers may arrive between 3:00 & 4:00 PM

On SUNDAY, JULY 16, 2017, but no earlier than 3:00 PM.

WHAT TO BRING

Personal Effects: towel, washcloth, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving gel & razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, brush, ponytail holders, etc.

Bedding: sheets (for twin size bed), blanket or sleeping bag, pillow

Study Materials: Bible, notebook, pen/pencil.

Optional: Bible Marking Pens or Colored Pencils

Outdoor: sunscreen, flashlight, short beach chair or blanket/towel to sit on, hats and/or caps, insect repellent.

Optional: Tree hammock, camera

Snack & Treats: to share with friends

WHAT NOT TO BRING

Firearms or fireworks

Skateboards

CD/mp3 players, radios or stereos

Laptop computers or touch screen devices

Personal DVD players/handheld game devices

Cell phones. Cell phone use is not permitted during the week of camp except for taking pictures. If camper is caught using phones for any other purposes, phone will be removed until the end of the week. The camp is not responsible for any loss or damage to cell phones.

CAMP HEALTH

A camp nurse is always part of our staff, administering to minor injuries and upsets. Contact information of nearby physicians and clinics is at hand.

CAMP DRESS CODE

Shorts, Pants, Dresses and Skirts

Modest Shorts, Capris, or Pants, dresses or skirts may be worn.
During the day, beginning at 8:30 AM, we will begin with Morning Exercises. If any of the girls choose to wear dresses or skirts, they must also wear leggings or shorts for exercises or any outdoor activities.
No mini-skirts, transparent clothing or cut-offs. Ripped, torn or slashed clothing in areas that are indecent will not be tolerated.
*Please bring one fancy dress and pretty shoes for a surprise evening of dress-up.

Shirts, Blouses, Tops

Shirts or blouses are to be worn according to design. Undershirts, tank tops, spaghetti straps will be worn under other garments. Bras and undergarments will not be warn as to be revealed.

Shoes

Campers must wear shoes anytime they are outside the cabin.

*Modesty of clothing is at the sole discretion of the camp directors and if asked, campers will be asked to change if they do not meet camp standards.

FEES

The Brown Trail Church of Christ is happy to offer this camp to High-School Aged Girls who are already baptized Christians and are faithful members of their local church of Christ.

Campers must have completed 8th grade. Oldest attending campers are high school graduating seniors.

Included: Limited insurance, meals, snacks, lodging, teaching and activities. 

DEPOSIT AND REGISTRATION

There are only 22 available openings for Campers so you will want to register and answer questions fully and quickly.

Registration is not accepted until the full application AND $25 Registration fee is collected in the Brown Trail church of Christ office. We will be sure to let you know when your camper’s registration has been received and approved.

NOTE: CABINS

Be sure to include the camper’s correct age and grade she last finished. There will be four cabins and these will be according to grade in school.

NOTE: HEALTH & INSURANCE FORMS

Be sure the NURSE’S INFORMATION form is completely filled out AND signed by a parent or guardian. Also, if applicable, complete the INSURANCE AGREEMENT and make sure a parent or guardian signs it.

 

The following statement is mentioned in the registration form: You will be asked to agree with it:

I/we herby give permission for the directors and camp nurse to take my child to the hospital or to a doctor in case of accident or sickness and/or to receive medical treatment as prescribed by an attending physician. I/We understand that Immovable Christian Girls Camp will not be help liable for this camper and I/we will never bring legal action against Immovable Christian Girls Camp.

I/We give permission for my child
to take short road trips for hiking trips and/or service projects in nearby Cleburne and the Cleburne State Park as the Directors schedules allow, as well as participate in hiking, tractor rides and exploring 250 farm with supervision. In case of accident, I/we give authority and consent for medical and surgical treatment as needed in the judgment of treating physicians. I/we also agree that Immovable Christian Girls Camp, its staff members and the owners of the farm will not be held liable in case of accident. I/We will never bring legal action against Immovable Christian Girls Camp.
